The Marginal Cost of Eggs

Over the weekend, I had breakfast at Chris' Cafe in Coleman, Alberta. The two-egg Denver omelet cost $7.75. The three-egg version costs $7.95. That's $0.20 for the marginal egg. At that price, you're losing money not getting the third egg!

Rob,
It is possible that these are subsidized by the federal government as massive over-consumption leads to earlier death and hence smaller pension costs.

Maybe it's just me, but $7.75 < $7.95. Hence, you are not saving any money by buying the 3rd egg.
